VENTURELAB WEEKEND
The next edition of the VentureLab Weekend will take place on 19-21 November 2021, aiming to help aspiring entrepreneurs sound and test their ideas, develop business models and pitch to an experienced jury. The event is a collaboration between the University of Groningen and it’s accelerator VentureLab North.
Format
The VentureLab Weekend is all about building – building your competences and skills, your future dream-team, and, of course, your business. During the 3 days of the event you will work on turning your idea into a working business concept. The programme supports you with 6 workshops and more than 6 hours of coaching by a group of experienced coaches. Furthermore, the weekend is an opportunity to test your idea and get input from a group of topic experts in such areas as IP management, Financing, Regulatory affairs and hospital procurement. On Friday and Saturday you will learn to pitch your ideas and get valuable feedback. Sunday evening the teams will do a final pitch for a panel of expert entrepreneurs, business developers and potential investors. Check the schedule for the more specific information.
As the University policy allows the weekend to be an in-person education event, we hope to see the event take place in the traditional location at Van Swinderen Huys. However, depending on the Covid situation, the weekend may fall back to online format.

Participating in the event comes at a cost of 40 Euros. Costs for the platform/location, classes, coaches and prizes are covered by the UG Centre of Entrepreneurship.
