Sencilia successfully secured €321k subsidy for ‘SmartInfuus’-project
We would like to congratulate team Sencilia on the successful funding of their project ‘SmartInfuus’ together with the UMCG, the University of Groningen and Medical Innovation Xcellerator! The ‘SmartInfuus’-project successfully secured a €321k subsidy from the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) through the Valorisatie 2022 program of Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland (SNN), scoring an impressive 93 (!) out of 100 points from the project review committee.
Within the project, the aim is to conduct preclinical ex vivo validation of their IV infusion monitoring sensors together with world-leading academic experts from the UMCG and the University of Groningen. The experiments scheduled throughout the project will play a crucial role in pushing forward Sencilia’s sensor technology closer to being ready for the market. Contract research experts Medical Innovation Xcellerator will provide vital assistance in project administration and dissemination.
