Together, by helping out entrepreneurs work out, develop and market their ideas, Ignacio and Deepak aim to generate maximum impact within the Groningen startup-ecosystem. Dr. Ignacio Faustino

Ignacio has experience in the Life Sciences industry, evaluating clinical trials and market trends using data analysis, first as a business developer in a pharmaceutical startup and later as a venture capital analyst in Life Sciences. He has a thorough understanding of the drug discovery and development innovation process, as well as scouting and evaluating partnering and investment opportunities. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs develop their ideas, create business plans, and market their products or services.

Dr. Deepak Veeregowda

Deepak H. Veeregowda, Ph.D. is currently the director at Ducom Instruments B.V. He is a trained Mechanical Engineer (MS), Scientist (Ph.D.) & Innovation Specialist (Exec. Program).  For over 10 years he has practiced the art of marketing, sales & business development in the high-tech industry. He continues to successfully manage the products and brands that deliver the best customer experience in industry sectors such as transportation, health care & heavy engineering. Being passionate & experienced in innovation, he loves driving the investment road map (early stage & VC) for ideators who are aiming to become entrepreneurs.
