FOAMPLANT ENTERS THE KVK INNOVATION TOP 100

FOAMPLANT

Foamplant, producer and worldwide frontrunner in the field of biodegradable and circular foam, has entered the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) Innovation top 100. Every year, the KvK comes up with a ranking, showcasing the top 100 innovative Dutch SMEs (Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises). Foamplant has entered the competition, awaiting the final rankings which will be announced later this year.  

GROWFOAM

Foamplant produces their foam by the alias of GROWFOAM, a greener, safer and faster solution to grow crops, among other things. GROWFOAM is micro-engineered for optimal water absorption and root growth, and is not of organic origin. Foamplant delivers their product worldwide to growers in hydroculture and vertical farming. The technology behind the production of GROWFOAM is patented and fully scalable, and available for both commercial and private use.  

Data from current clients show that growers save up to 20% on their operational costs by using GROWFOAM in their growing enivronment. This is among other things due to lower logistical risk, lower maintenance costs and more effective automation possibilities. Crops grow better, yields are higher, the waste stream decreases considerably and there are no pathogens in the foam so there’s no need to use pesticides. This makes GROWFOAM a greener, safer and faster substitute to conventional subtrates.
